TWEED ON TRACK FOR LEVEL 3 WATER RESTRICTIONS
The Tweed could be on Level 3 water restrictions by early February if consumption continues at its current rate.
Council says water saving efforts prior to Christmas were good, but the new year has seen an increase in water use.
Clarrie Hall Dam is now sitting at 70 per cent of capacity and dropping at almost two per cent a week.
Level 3 restrictions will be introduced at 65 per cent.
