MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN CRASH ON OLD HARWOOD BRIDGE

A 54-year-old motorcyclist has died after being involved in a serious collision on Old Harwood Bridge, north of Maclean.

Multiple ambulance crews responded to the scene with the Westpac helicopter also called.

Early police reports suggest the male motorcyclist didn’t see the vertical-lift bridge operating.

A report will now be prepared for the Coroner.
