GREEN LIGHT FOR NORTH COAST BEACH PATROLS

Volunteer surf life savers and paid lifeguards will remain out in force across the North Coast during the COVID-19 crisis.

Surf Life Saving New South Wales confirming lifeguard duties will continue at Tweed, Byron, Ballina and Port Macquarie beaches.

However, there will be no patrols at beaches where crowds exceed 500 people to try to limit the spread of the virus.
