There are no new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the Northern Rivers Health district today, though health professionals are urging residents to remain vigilant.
“We’ve got cases across the entire footprint. From the Clarence through the Richmond, though Byron, up to Tweed, so we would strongly council people to believe there is a case in their neighbourhood.”
Residents are reminded that medication will not be effective in preventing the spread of the virus.
“People should not be using medication for anything other than what it has been prescribed for.”
