TWO NEW COVID-19 CASES IN THE NORTHERN NSW LHD

The Northern New South Wales local health district has recorded two new COVID-19 cases.

It’s the first increase in the region in more than four weeks.

Health authorities say of the two new cases one was acquired overseas, while the other is under investigation.

The health district’s total now stands at 57.
