SURFER THANKS HELICOPTER CREW AND NSW AMBULANCE FOR SAVING HIS LIFE

A surfer winched to safety by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter has today thanked the crew involved.

Daniel Vanoorde says he thought he was going to die after being bashed against rocks in rough conditions.
