The second story (Binna burra accident) was reported incorrectly. The statesman was not ‘driving on the wrong side of the road’ as stated. It crossed onto the wrong side of the road after losing control navigating the bends in the wet, when it came into contact with an oncoming vehicle. I know this because I was the driver of that statesman!! I was not draining in a manner dangerous and was driving 12kms under the speed limit. I simply lost control of the vehicle.
The tone of the reporter was depicting me as someone who had no idea what they were doing and driving dangerously.
