Goonellabah’s YWCA is calling for young people to get involved in a new skills project set to launch shortly at the Youth Arts Cafe.
The program will give people aged between 16 and 24 experience in a bustling kitchen environment.
“You’re going to get that hands on training, you’re going to be able to enjoy that food, and you’re going to be able to learn skills for life,” Daniel Lange from Wollongbar TAFE said.
The program has been made possible by a $200,000 State Government grant.
