In another blow to the Far North Coast event scene, organisers of Lismore’s Tropical Fruits festival have cancelled this year’s celebration due to the pandemic.
Held annually over New Years, the LGBTQI event usually attracts thousands of people to the region and injects millions into the economy.
The Tropical Fruits Fair Day has also been axed this year.
