Southern Cross University has appointed a new Vice Chancellor and President after Professor Adam Shoemaker resigned from the position.
The university’s current Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Tyrone Carlin, will move into the top role later next month.
It will be a baptism of fire for Professor Carlin – with SCU facing a budget shortfall of up to $38-million over the next two years due to the pandemic.
