FAR NORTH COAST ENTERS BUSHFIRE SEASON

The Far North Coast has officially entered bushfire season.

This applies for 21 local government areas, including Ballina, Byron, Lismore, Kyogle, Richmond Valley and the Tweed.

Anyone who wants to light a fire will need a permit.

They’re free and you can get them by from your local RFS control centre or Fire and Rescue station.
