LIVESTOCK OWNERS REMINDED OF PARALYSIS TICK DANGER

Residents in the Northern Rivers are also being urged to keep an eye out for paralysis ticks as we say goodbye to winter.
The North Coast Local Land Services says while ticks are hard to find, livestock owners should be aware of the symptoms.
They include wobbling in the animal’s back legs, trouble breathing and lying down.
Calves, sheep and goats are the most commonly affected.
