Hundreds of people gathered at the Lismore Rugby Union Club today to celebrate the life of 17-year-old Edward ‘Eddy’ Allen.
The promising sporting star was remembered as a loveable larrikin and a remarkable young man.
He died in a single-vehicle crash at Lismore earlier this month.
