Health authorities are encouraging Northern Rivers residents with even the mildest of symptoms, to get tested for COVID-19.
The plea comes as the region prepares for an influx of visitors during the school holidays.
The local health district says testing has declined in recent weeks and it would like to see more than 3000 people being swabbed each week.
