There’s been multiple shark sightings along the Far North Coast this weekend.
The alarm was first raised at 7.30 this morning, when a member of the public spotted a shark off Evans Head.
Hours later, there was another reported sighting at Byron Bay.
This afternoon, a shark was tagged and released, after being caught in a drumline at Evans Head Main Beach.
Surf Life Saving New South Wales is urging swimmers to stay on alert.
