LOCAL STUDENT THEO SCHOLL RECOGNISED AT NSW TRAINING AWARDS

In a virtual ceremony, Richmond Valley student Theo Scholl has won the New South Wales people’s choice award for school-based apprentice trainee of the year.

Theo completed a warehousing traineeship through council and gained his TAFE certificate in just one year, instead of the normal two years.

The high school student is also a member of his local fire brigade – playing an instrumental role during last year’s Rappville fires.
