MAN ARRESTED AND CHARGED OVER LISMORE SCHOOL LOCKDOWN

A man has been charged after allegedly making threats over the phone towards an East Lismore school.

Wyrallah Road Public School went into lockdown around midday yesterday while officers searched the grounds.

Nothing suspicious was found and the lockdown was lifted.

Th 27-year-old has been granted bail to appear at Lismore Local Court later this month.
