COVID SEWAGE TESTING EXPANDED INTO THE CLARENCE

COVID sewage testing is continuing across the Northern Rivers as the region marks 111 days without community transmission.
The Local Health District confirming the number of sites being analysed for the virus has been expanded.
“Until recently we’ve had five sites across the North Coast. In the last week Clarence has come onboard so we’ve got six sites now having their sewage treatment reviewed for COVID,” Chief Executive of the Northern NSW Local Health District, Wayne Jones, said.
There’s been no positive fragments detected in our waste water system since testing began.
