A Lennox Head man has been sentenced to at least 21-years jail, for the murder of Byron Bay man, John Garda.
Mr Garda’s body was found in a shallow grave at Broadwater in February 2010, but it’s unknown exactly what happened to him.
Kevin Malcolm Purtill has been sentenced to 28 years jail, but will be eligible for parole in February 2031.
