Two men aged in their 30’s have been arrested and charged with drug offences in Casino overnight.
The men, travelling in a black Range Rover were stopped by Richmond police officers yesterday afternoon.
Following a vehicle search, police allegedly seized more than $1000 in cash, a small amount of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.
It’s alleged one man was also carrying more than 26.5 grams of methylamphetamine which has an estimated street value of $19,875.
The men were taken to Casino Police Station and charged with multiple drug offences.
The driver, from Goonellabah, was also charged with drive motor vehicle during disqualification period.
Both men faced Casino Local Court today.
