Staff had to be evacuated after a blaze ignited within a silo at Boral Timber in Murwillumbah this morning.
Multiple emergency crews were called to the scene, while an exclusion zone was set up.
Fire and Rescue personnel remained on site well into the afternoon to monitor the smouldering fire.
The cause is yet to be determined.
