POLICE INVESTIGATING AFTER CYCLIST HIT BY TRUCK IN THE TWEED

Police are asking for the public’s help after a cyclist was hit by a truck in the Tweed Shire early yesterday morning.

The 43-year-old was knocked from his bike on the Tweed Valley Way at Condong shortly after 6 o’clock.

He suffered multiple head, leg and internal injuries, and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.

Anyone who may have dashcam footage of the crash is urged to contact their local police station.
