Fitness fanatics will soon get a chance to switch the roadside marathon for a beach side stroll for charity.
The Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter has launched its latest fundraiser – a 37 kilometre walk from Ballina to Byron Bay.
“There’s an entry fee to do the walk but there’s also a fundraising challenge with prizes.”
The chopper has assisted close to 7000 people in the northern rivers, Including Amanda Falvey’s two boys, Jaxon and Harry.
