NORTHERN NEW SOUTH WALES HEALTH RESTRICTS HOSPITAL VISITORS

Hospitals in Northern New South Wales are barring visitors from Greater Brisbane.

The Local Health District has imposed the rule for people who have travelled from the Brisbane City, Moreton Bay, Ipswich, Logan and Redland City areas – due to COVID-19 concerns.

Visitor screening and temperature checks remain in place, and anyone in the affected council areas on the health district’s website are urged to avoid all non-essential visits to hospitals in the Northern New South Wales region.
