More than 400 Pacific Island workers are on their way to the Northern Rivers’ blueberry farms.
Some are already in Australia, though many are still in hotel quarantine in Sydney.
Mountain Blue will be sending the workers to work on their farms in Tabulam, Wollongbar and Alstonville for the next four to six months.
Managing director Andrew Bell believes the group will make up around 70% of his workforce this blueberry season.
