ANTI-LOCKDOWN PROTESTS HIT THE NORTH COAST, HUNDREDS OF FINES ISSUED

There were more than 80 arrests in northern New South Wales, and a whopping 217 fines issued… while three police officers suffered minor injuries at Raymond Terrace, Lismore and Murwillumbah.

Mullumbimby saw one of the largest protests – hundreds gathered outside Byron Shire Council.

And while scenes here were relatively calm, police say there were almost 30 protests across the northern and western regions… including at Grafton, where things really got heated.
