CHARGES LAID AFTER MAN THREATENED WITH SCISSORS IN WEST TAMWORTH

Two men have been charged after a man was allegedly threatened with a pair of scissors during a robbery in West Tamworth.
A 26-year-old man was reportedly driving along Cole Road – around 6:30 last night, when a stranger waved him down.
Police say the unknown man then threatened the driver.
The victim was taken to a nearby home – where his mobile phone was taken but he managed to get away.
Police later tracked down, and arrested a 28-year-old man and 15-year-old boy.
The teen faces children’s court next month – while the man has been refused bail to front court again in November.
