MANHUNT FOR BALLINA ASSAULT, CARJACKING AND CAR FIRE

Police are now appealing for information after an assault, carjacking and fire on the far north coast last weekend.

On Saturday, officers were called to the Ballina Bunnings carpark amid reports of a brawl.

Police say a man was assaulted by three others, and his car was stolen.

A black Range Rover that left the scene was later found at Alstonville, engulfed in flames.

Prohibited drugs were located around the vehicle… no arrests have been made.
