Sophie Matterson’s five-thousand kilometre camel trek from the most Westerly point of Australia to the most Easterly, has come to an end.
After traveling for nearly two years, Sophie and her five camels reached Tyagarah Beach near Byron Bay just at dawn on Friday.
They’ve now parked up at The Farm in Byron Bay for some much needed R and R where Sophie will be giving a talk about her adventure tomorrow at 10am.
