WOMAN CHARGED AFTER ICE, COCAINE AND CASH FOUND IN CAR
A woman has been charged, after police allegedly found the drug ‘ice’, cocaine and cash when they stopped a car near Coffs Harbour.
Officers set up Strike Force Praetoria to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs between Sydney and Tweed Heads in October.
Following their investigations, police stopped a vehicle on the Pacific Highway at North Boambee Valley around 9:45pm on Thursday.
They combed over the vehicle, where they allegedly uncovered 245g of methylamphetamine (ice), 30g of cocaine and more than $4,000 in cash.
The woman then returned a positive roadside drug test for methylamphetamine and cocaine – with the results of further tests pending.
She was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug (indictable quantity), two counts of possess prohibited drug, recklessly deal with proceeds of crime and goods in personal custody suspected being stolen (not motor vehicle).
She was refused bail to front Coffs Harbour Local Court today.
