A television makeup artist who triggered COVID lockdowns in Northern New South Wales has avoided a fine and jail time.
Kelly Anne Bowman travelled to Byron Bay last September, to work on “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here” while infected with COVID-19.
She failed to check in at local businesses – and following her positive test, the area was thrown into a 7-day lockdown.
Today she was handed a two year conditional release order, without conviction.
