The man was struck at the Bushland Drive railway crossing around 4:30.

It’s believed the man was celebrating his eighteenth birthday with a group of friends and relatives prior to the event.

There are also reports the train driver and police officers were forced to take shelter in the train’s cabin after being pelted with rocks while trying to help the man.

  1. We need much stricter laws about idiots who abuse medics, ambulance paramedics and police who try to assist people who need help. Personally, I would have left the guy alone to die and make the idiots responsible. However, we never hold these people responsible.
