DRIVERS URGED TO SLOW DOWN AND PAY ATTENTION AFTER FOUR KOALAS KILLED WITHIN FIVE DAYS

Byron Shire residents are crying out for motorists to be more vigilant on the road – after two koalas and their joeys were killed in the last five days.

More signs encouraging drivers to watch out for wildlife have been erected, drivers are also encouraged to educate themselves on what to do when they hit animal.
