MAN IN HIS 70S RECOVERING IN HOSPITAL AFTER BEING HIT BY CAR AT BYRON RUGBY MATCH
A man in his seventies is recovering in hospital… after he was hit by a car at the Byron Bay Red Devils Rugby League club, yesterday afternoon.
At around 3pm, two ambulance crews responded and treated the man for possible spinal and pelvic injuries.
He was taken to Tweed Hospital and is now in a stable condition.
Police are investigating, but they believe the incident was accidental.
