Protesters gather at Wollumbin High School to save endangered trees from removal

Protesters have gathered at Wollumbin High School to save 48 trees from being removed to create more parking spaces.

It’s been proposed – as Murwillumbah High moves to the campus while the suburb’s ‘mega school’ is under construction.

State Member for Lismore Janelle Saffin says the tree removal has been put on hold as talks continue.wol
