Road death toll on North Coast doubles compared to last year

The latest road toll data reveals 24 people have lost their lives on North Coast roads this year.

The number is local fatalities doubling from this time last year where the toll sat at 12.

10 deaths were on roads in the Richmond Police District while Tweed-Byron and Coffs Clarence recorded seven fatalities each.
