There’s been a twist in the Grant Hackett plane drama, with a witness rejecting claims a passenger was assaulted. Hackett was questioned by Federal police after allegedly groping a fellow passenger on a flight from Adelaide to Melbourne.
The gloves are off in Federal Parliament, as the Turnbull Government tries to push through divisive legislation which could end up in a double dissolution election on the second of July.
More than 200 people have died in Ecuador, after a massive “seven point eight” magnitude earthquake hit the region. A state of emergency has been declared, with fears the number of victims will rise dramatically.
And Johnny Depp’s wife Amber Heard this morning pleaded GUILTY to falsifying an immigration document – after smuggling their dogs into Australia. Heard is expected to be sentenced later today.
