As the Northern Rivers rebuilds from last year’s floods there’s a renewed plea for the community to come together, to better prepare for future disasters.
Advocates are calling for neighbours to reach out to those who may be impacted by dementia – noting sufferers are particularly vulnerable during extreme weather events.
