47 Central Coast Tri-Club athletes competed in yesterday’s Wyong Triathlon at Budgewoi.
In the Sprint Distance, the locals claimed the trifecta, with Tim Lang, Matt Porta and Steve “Mad Dog” McKellar all finishing on the podium.
In the Men’s longer distance race, Beau Fleming was runner up, while Sophie Fallon was the third woman home.
Almost 500 enjoyed perfect weather for the second instalment of the event, which is part of the Wyong Lakes Festival.
Four distances were on offer to cater for beginners through to elite competitors.
