The High Speed Rail advisory group in the Northern Rivers has reached the end of it’s duties.
But Mayor Jenny Dowell remains hopeful that the committee’s report submission will soon get the ball rolling.
In 2011 talks began about the high speed network including possible stops in Grafton and Casino.
It’s estimated that we could see the project come to fruition by 2043.
