The credits are about to roll on the 2019 Byron Bay Film Festival… but organisers have saved the best for last.
Tonight is the Australian premiere of ‘The Cave’ – a feature film based on the incredible effort to rescue a soccer team from a flooded cave in Thailand.
“The unique thing about this film is that we have the real divers involved in the rescue playing themselves in the movie, so in fact it’s very authentic.”
Organisers have hailed the 10-day event a success, with hundreds turning up for the screenings of more than 150 films.
