A Nimbin man has been charged with a string of offences, including possessing child exploitation material.
The arrest comes after a mobile phone was seized by officers last year, which allegedly contained more than 300 images of young people.
Police believe some of the images were taken in local shopping centres.
The 29-year-old has been granted bail to reappear in Lismore Local Court on July 27.
