Lismore Council has elected the city’s new deputy mayor.
Councillor Neil Marks defeated Councillor Nancy Casson five votes to three, with Councillor Vanessa Ekins abstaining.
Councillor Marks takes over from Councillor Darlene Cook.
The local government election is due to be held in September next year.
