POLICE INVESTIGATING CATTLE THEFTS IN THE NORTHERN RIVERS

Northern Rivers police are investigating the theft and attempted theft of cattle from rural properties.

Officers say two Red Angus stud heifers were taken from a Skyline Road address near Lismore sometime between December last year and early January.

In a separate incident, officers believe a group of people attempted to steal more than two dozen cattle from a property at New Italy late last month.
