The new home of Ballina’s SES headquarters remains up in the air tonight.
The unit is pushing back against council’s idea to relocate to the naval cadet facility on Endeavour Close.
Instead, the unit’s controller hopes council will approve a move to the Clarke Street Reserve, near its current location.
Mayor, David Wright, says talks will be held between council and New South Wales SES over the coming weeks – with all options still on the table.
