COVID FRAGMENT IN BYRON SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT LEAVES HEALTH AUTHORITIES ON HIGH ALERT

Health authorities are on high alert after covid fragments were detected in the Byron Bay and West Kempsey Sewage treatment plants.

The Byron samples were taken on September 2.

Anyone with even the mildest of symptoms is being urged to get tested – as it’s feared undetected cases may be in the region.

There are no active infections in either location.
