NORTHERN NSW RECORDS 166 NEW COVID CASES

The Northern New South Wales Local Health District recorded 166 covid cases overnight.

Byron saw the most new infections, recording 80 there – while, 28 are from the Clarence Valley and 21 are from Ballina.

10 patients are being cared for in hospital, with three in ICU.

The region’s hospital testing clinics are open over the holiday period.
