KING TIDES IN BALLINA AS EX-TROPICAL CYCLONE SETH CONTINUES TO LASH THE FAR NORTH COAST

Ex-Tropical Cyclone Seth continues to lash the Far North Coast with wild waves.

King tides today at Ballina saw one of the town’s main streets swamped with water.

The abnormally high tide peaked just after 11:30am at 1-point-8-7 metres.

It’s expected to reduce in size over the coming days as the tropical low weakens and moves towards the northwest.
