Tenterfield Council will join Ballina and Byron councils to be scrutinised by the New South Wales corruption watchdog in the coming weeks.
The ICAC will investigate allegations council staff members accepted gifts in return for placing orders and continuing business relationships with some suppliers.
It is one of the largest investigations undertaken by the commission in two-decades.
