THOUSANDS STILL STRANDED AS RIVERS PEAK

While rain has eased on the Far North Coast today, more than 1600 people remain isolated by flood waters.

It comes as the Wilson and Richmond rivers reached minor flood level’s in Lismore, Coraki and Bungawalbin – inundating car parks and several roads.

While waters have started to recede, residents are reminded not to drive through floodwaters.
